Baghdad, Jan. 13 (AKnews) - A source in the Iraqi police, said on Thursday that seven people had been killed and wounded when a roadside bomb exploded near a Shiite Husianiya in Baghdad.
The source, who asked not to be named, told AKnews that the roadside bomb was planted near Zuwiya Husianiya in Karrada district, in the center of Baghdad this morning, killing one civilian and wounding six others.
Security forces cordoned off the area after the blast, ambulances transferred the dead body to the forensic medicine and the injured people to a nearby hospital.
A bomb exploded earlier today near Shaikh, Abdul Qadir Jilani meetinghouse in Baghdad, which killed one civilian and wounded eight others.
