Erbil, Jan.13 (AKnews)- The U.S. Vice president, Joe Biden will arrive in the Kurdistan Region’s capital, Erbil, Thursday evening to meet with the top Kurdish officials.
Faysal Dabbagh, the media secretary for the Kurdistan president, Massoud Barzani, told AKnews Biden will discuss with Barzani and the Kurdish premier, Barham Salih the current political situation in Iraq and some other issues.
Last night the U.S. official arrived in Baghdad, though he was expected in the Iraqi capital, Thursday. Biden will meet Jalal Talabani, the Iraqi president, Nouri al-Maliki, the Iraqi Prime Minister, and Ayad Allawi, the head of al-Iraqiya bloc before heading to Kurdistan.
