Erbil, Jan.13 (AKnews)- In the Veneto Region’s presidential office a multidimensional memorandum of understanding between the Italian region and the Kurdistan Region was agreed upon Tuesday, the Kurdistan Region presidency website reported.
The head of the Kurdish presidential office, Fu’ad Hussein and the Veneto’s president, Luca Zaia signed the memo. The memorandum calls for strengthening the mutual ties in fields of agriculture, tourism, trade and industry, education, science and culture.
Hussein told the agency the Kurdish delegation offered the Italian region’s president to visit Kurdistan and he accepted the invitation. He also hoped that Veteno will expand its representative office to a consulate in the interest of reinforcing the bilateral relations.
