The face of Iraqi President Jalal Talabani to congratulate the Christians in Iraq mark the Easter holiday which falls on Sunday. Talabani said in a statement issued by his office Friday that Christians have demonstrated their devotion to their country and dedication to the good and happiness, and expressed his hope that the trust and collaboration between people in achieving security and stability of the Christians.
At the same time, he called Pope Benedict XVI, the Iraqi government and its institutions to help the Christian community in the country and the reduction of migration after exposure to threats in recent times.
