Allawi in Erbil for talks over incomplete govt.

Erbil, April 22 (AKnews)- The head of the Kurdistan Bloc Coalition (KBC) said Thursday the head of al-Iraqiya bloc is currently in Kurdistan Region capital, Erbil, for talks with Massoud Barzani over the suspended posts of the new Iraqi cabinet.
Barzani, the Kurdistan Region President Massoud was well reputed for reconciling all the Iraqi parties and convincing them in Erbil thorough a pact of power-share to gather for the election of the new cabinet nine months after the inclusive elections in the country March 2010.
However, now there are signs of rising discontent about “violations” of the pact. A national council for strategic policies with broad authorities, which would act like another legislative authority besides parliament, was promised to Allawi in turn for his compromise for Nouri al-Maliki over the prime minister post. There are no indications that the council will be formed. At the same time, the new cabinet still runs without the security ministers and vice president(s) due to persisting squabbles.
In their meeting in Erbil, the two leaders will discuss the issue of the vacant posts. The conclusions of the meeting are likely to go public as early as Sunday, Fuad Massum, the head of the KBC, told AKnews.
He anticipated Allawi will meet Maliki after Erbil visit, “because such issues cannot be settled in two-sided meetings.”
Leaders from Allawi’s al-Iraqiya bloc have repetitively accused Maliki and his Shia dominated alliance, the National Coalition (NC) of “evading Erbil pact and acting unilaterally.”
