A workshop was held in Baghdad to discuss Iraq accession to world trade organization , the workshop was attended by representative of state minister for parliament affairs ,former acting minister of trade and representative of current minister of trade.
The workshop discussed the stages that the committee who is responsible of working on Iraq accession to the organization reached.
During the workshop Iraqi academic and researcher Lahib Toma presented a study about the horizons and aims of foreign trade and it is importance in achieve economic development programs, and another study was presented during the workshop by doctor Mudafar ali that highlighted the Jordanian experience in joining world trade organization.
Big number of economic experts , academics ,officials , and businessmen participated in this workshop which was chaired by head of economic committee in parliament doctor Ahmed sulaiman
