SO, this part of the HCL is still in controversy at this time. Good article of reality Cat561. Seems that they are wanting at least ONE more amendment added to the paragraph in Article 5 that Onecinful1 so kindly posted for all to see and view. The adding is a control on the control of which the federal gov has over the ministry. I think that is a smart amendment to acquire by the overlooking parliament commission observed prior to final LAW. So HCL is not complete yet. Baghdad, April 8 (Rn) – A member of the parliamentary energy commission, said Friday that oil and gas law in its current form does not separate functions between the Ministry of Oil and the Federal Council is expected formed after the promulgation of the law, and the Commission is working on the separation of their functions.
