Opening an international office to grant a visa to enter the Jordanian territory in Baquba

Said a member of the Diyala provincial council, said on Saturday that Iraq's transport ministry has opened an international office in the city of Baquba, to grant a visa to enter the Jordanian territory for $ 41 per traveler, and it plans to grant entry visas to other countries.

A member of the provincial council Amer Karkhi in an interview for "Alsumaria News", "The General Company for Passenger governmental organizations associated with the Ministry of Transport opened in the neighborhood of Mustafa, 4 km east of the city of Baquba, the International Bureau for the granting of entry visas to Jordan (visa)," indicating that "The office applied to the mechanism generally accepted in the visa according to the procedure takes three days and costing $ 41 per passenger Iraq."

Karkhi added that "the existence of an international office to facilitate the task of obtaining a visa to the Jordanian territory, shares the burden in raising a large number of travelers from conservative families who are forced to go to Baghdad to get a visa."

He said a member of the provincial council that "there are promises to expand the framework of the International Bureau in order to grant entry visas to Arab countries and other foreign in the near future in order to facilitate travel procedures for the people of the province," as he put it.

The passengers all of the people of Diyala province are forced to travel to Baghdad or Kurdistan region with a view to obtaining a visa to enter the Jordanian territory, which increases their burdens material.
