Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki chairing a meeting of the Committee on Education and Culture
Chaired by Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki at his office today, the official meeting of the Committee on Education and Culture in the presence of the Ministers of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport.
He stressed during the meeting the need for the attention to the educational and cultural progress, because people did not happen without attention to education and culture. The Prime Minister said that the state is the student and the teacher as the best investment is not limited to construction projects but also in building human, too.
He stressed the need to promote educational and cultural reality through the support of institutions and educational programs, and to identify immediate and strategic goals for the work of those institutions. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of increasing cooperation between the ministries in the implementation of projects related to educational institutions, and extraordinary efforts in supporting and support in the technical aspects of the educational process.
