Prime Minister stresses that the security forces become unable to bear the responsibility and work with professionalism and national

Prime Minister and Commander of the Armed Forces Nuri al-Maliki said the armed forces and the Iraqi security services have been able to assume their responsibilities in maintaining security and work with professionalism and patriotism.
Maliki said during a meeting with President of the U.S. House of Representatives John Beiner and a number of members of Congress and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Jeffrey Feltman said that Iraq was looking forward to future cooperation with the United States of America in the field of armament and training.
The Prime Minister emphasized during the meeting which was attended by U.S. ambassador in Baghdad James Jeffrey, the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries in all fields especially trade and cultural as well as military. Stressing that the existence of friendly relations between Iraq and the United States would be for the benefit and the benefit of both peoples.
For his part, President of the U.S. House of Representatives for his country's desire and keenness to continue support to the political process in Iraq and its democratic, accessible and cooperative relations and friendship between the two countries to a fruitful stage in the interest of the parties. During the meeting, they discussed relations between Iraq and the United States and the future of the strategic cooperation between the two countries.
