Palms - A number of intellectuals and parliamentarians in the Kurdistan Region draft law to determine the establishment of Friday prayers at three mosques in the region to prevent the dissemination of religious extremism among its citizens.
A draft law which was signed by more than a thousand and 300 intellectuals and artists, academics and members of parliament, to identify a Friday prayer sermon in only three mosques in the three provinces of the region of Arbil, Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk.
The bill provides that the transfer of prayer directly to the other mosques in the centers of cities and towns, villages and homes, to be preachers of knowledgeable in-depth and good experience of the Islamic religion.
The Associated Press quoted French signatories that there are some preachers spreading the ideas of extremism among the citizens, which is a source of instability and radicalism and terrorism among the components of society, they said
