29-03-2011 | (Voice of Iraq) resumed four committees emanating from the Ministerial Committee joint Kuwaiti-Iraqi business morning 28/3/2011 for consideration of issues on its agenda concerning the situation between Iraq and Kuwait in the light of relevant international resolutions, as well as discuss cooperation in trade, financial, cultural and transportation between the two countries.
On this occasion, h.h the Prime Minister of State Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Sabah, Kuwait, Mr. Hoshyar Zebari, Foreign Minister and his ministerial delegation, and resided in his lunch included many state leadership and senior staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait.
This Committee has held the Iraqi-Kuwaiti ministerial session concluding work on the evening of 28 March 2011, and adopted a final statement which praised Kuwait’s position in support of Iraq with Iraq in investigating the fate of missing Kuwaiti property, and reaffirmed Iraq’s fulfilment of its obligations under the international resolutions relevant to the situation between Iraq and Kuwait, and on their intention to continue coordination and consultation about all developments And regional and international developments and work on what would enhance security and stability in the region.
The two Foreign Ministers held a press conference after the acts of the inter-ministerial Commission delved into what had been agreed upon and answered questions from the media.
The Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said after the press conference directly to London to attend the International Conference on the situation in Libya.
