Arrived, Mr. Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari to the British capital London on the morning of 3/29/2011 to participate in the London Conference on the Libyan case.
Involved the minister with a number of foreign ministers of the European and African, Arab, and a number of international organizations including the Organization of the United Nations, in this conference to show the obligation of the international community to the Security Council resolution 1973 to 2011, and to work to launch a peace initiative Aimed to create favorable conditions can the Libyan people which decide their own future, as well as the international community’s resolve to confirm the continuation of humanitarian assistance .
The participation of the Minister in these meetings based on the fourth paragraph of the resolution the Arab League Council at the ministerial level as of 3/12/2011, and the judge to continue coordination about the situation in Libya with the United Nations and the African Union and the Organization of Islamic Conference and the European Union.
