While assuring high-Aziz Maaleh Director of Statistics Najaf's "citizen", "We have a study on food security in 2003 and then we re survey in 2005 and in 2007 a sample of 675 family as we got on the indicators of a possible classification of the governorates of Iraq to 4 categories the first is better food security and food security of other moderate and the third Food security is fragile and the recent food security is very fragile "

Adding, "We have established studies of food security and how to address them according to comprehensive strategies"
