Iraq planned to buy 2.8 million tons of wheat

The Director of General Company for Grain Trade in Iraq, Tuesday, that Iraq planned to buy more than 2.8 million tons of wheat in 2011, compared with 1.9 million tons last year to increase strategic reserves.
Informed "Muthanna Abdul-Jabbar" Reuters also, that tender will be issued around the end of this month for the construction of eight silos to increase storage capacity.
