Midland Refineries sign a contract with two South Korean for the development of Daura

Midland Refineries Company announced that the Ministry of Oil in Baghdad, Saturday, from a contract signed with the two Koreas for the development of Daura cost 1.0007 million thousand dollars, and stated that the contract also includes training of engineering and technical cadres of the refinery.
The general director of the company Saad Nuri Muhammad in an interview with “Alsumaria News,” The Midland Refineries Company has signed a contract with the companies of SK Energy, Inc. SK Angenerk Anne Konsrkcn the two Koreas for the development of Daura and make it consistent with the conditions and levels of current global crude oil refining, ” He pointed out that “the total cost of the contract amounted to 1.0007 million thousand dollars.”
Mohammed said that the “contract that was signed will include the preparation of engineering study for the development of water use optimally, especially with the expectations of the existence of scarcity of water in Iraq in the future,” noting that “The study will seek to take advantage of the water as much as possible to reduce water consumption by the refinery, as well as addressing industrial water and what he believes should not be played to the river and cost a million dollars. ”
Mohammed indicated that “the contract also includes training of engineering and technical cadres of the refinery by the Korean company, whether training inside or outside Iraq,” noting that “the training comes at a later stage of studies to be prepared by the two companies.”
And Mohammed said “the design capacity of the refinery session of 210 thousand barrels per day, but there Marqlat lead to reduced production of the refinery so that the range for the time being between 100 to 120 thousand barrels per day of petroleum products due to late arrival of crude oil to the refinery, as well as technical problems occur at the refinery from time to time. ”
