MP for the Iraqi List Aljehici Othman, said the main reason for the delay in naming ministers security partisan and sectarian quotas.
He said in a press statement: “The party of quotas and cronyism and clientelism have caused the lack of political consensus so far on the designation of security minister.”
He said: “The standard of expertise, competence and integrity is not a priority of the political blocs in the selection of ministers and security officials but the party quotas are the primary criterion for the selection of these blocks.”
